No. 1 Face Oil

Organic Olive Oil:

Olive oil (Olea europaea) contains natural antioxidants to help protect skin from pre-mature aging. The 3 major antioxidants are vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols. It also contains vitamin A,D, and K. Olive oil is great for after sun exposure and it's naturally hydrating to restores skin's smoothness. 

 

Organic Avocado Oil: 

Avocado oil (Persea americana) consists of omega 3 fatty acids along with vitamins A,D, and E. The oil contains potassium that nourishes the epidermal layer of the skin and aids in skin renewal. It also helps prevent acne and relieves inflammation from psoriasis and eczema. 

 

Organic Marula Oil: 

Marula oil (Sclerocarya birrea) is both anti inflammatory and antimicrobial. It helps build collagen and boosts cellular activity. The oleic acid in Marula oil is naturally soothing and doesn't clog pores. It assists in fighting acne and reduces the appearance of scars. Marula oil is great for all skin types. According to the South African Journal of Botany, Marula oil has UV protective qualities when topically applied to the skin[1]. 

 

Organic Calendula Infused Oil: 

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is one of my favorite plants. The flower itself contains carotenoids in the petals, which are key to helping skin look more youthful. It's great for sensitive skin, helps soothe eczema, and repairs scars. It has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. It's also great for pre/after sun exposure. 

 

Organic Moringa Oil: 

In many cultures where Moringa (Moringa oliefera) grows abundantly, it's considered a "miracle plant". Moringa is a superfood extremely rich in phytonutrients, which impacts overall health. Moringa is also packed with cytokinins, which promotes cell growth. The Vitamin C in Moringa stabilizes collagen and reduces fine lines. According the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Moringa contains up to 78% oleic acid which helps your skin replenish lost moisture that naturally comes with age[2]. 

 

Organic Frankincense Essential Oil: 

Frankincense oil, derived from the tree Boswellia sacra, regulates oily skin and reduces pores. It also has the ability to help rejuvenate the skin. It's astringent qualities treat acne and aid in scar reduction such as age spots. 

 

Organic Rosemary Essential Oil: 

Rosemary (Rosamarinus officinalis) is a natural antiseptic and loaded with antioxidants that help prevent skin damage. It helps neutralize free radical damage and has Vitamin B6, which supports the rebuilding of collagen. Rosemary not only is refreshing, but it also improves skin circulation!

 

Organic Lavender Essential Oil: 

Lavender oil (Lavendula angustifolia) has antiseptic properties and is anti inflammatory for most skin types. It helps treat acne and detoxifies skin from environmental pollutants. Lavender also soothes eczemas and other dry skin conditions. What's nice about Lavender is that it's not too oily or too drying of an oil. It's perfect for balancing your skin's moisture. The scent itself has therapeutic properties to aid with anxiety and depression. 

 

Organic Rose Geranium Essential Oil: 

Rose Geranium oil (Pelargonium graveolens) is great for dry and sensitive skin. It also nourishes skin and prevents pre-mature aging. It helps even out overall skin tone and combats age spots. It also improves skin circulation which aids in healthy cell regeneration. 

 

Organic Carrot Seed Essential Oil: 

Carrot seed oil comes from the plant Daucus Carota, i.e. Queen Anne's Lace. This special plant is high in antioxidants and contains vitamins E,C, and A. It can also be used as a natural SPF( the amount is on the low side, so please still apply sunscreen ) and is great for before/after sun exposure. It can provide your skin relief from environmental stressors and overall rejuvenates the look and feel of your skin. 

 

Organic Clary Sage Essential Oil: 

Clary Sage oil (Salvia sclerea) is rich in antioxidants and regulates/balances the production of natural oils in your skin. It reduces skin inflammation and heals rashes. Great for sensitive skin! The plant can also help reduce anxiety and calm the mind.

 

Organic Blue Yarrow Essential Oil: 

Blue Yarrow oil (Achillea millefolium) is one of the most powerful natural astringents. It's great for acne prone skin and is helpful with regenerating skin cells. The plant is also anti inflammatory and anti rheumatic, which is great for your circulation. Great for eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.

In aromatherapy Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) is used to open the heart and help soothe emotional wounds. The oil itself has anti-aging benefits and reduces the appearance of age spots. Neroli, who doesn't love the smell of Neroli?? Neroli oil (Citrus aurantium) is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which assists in free radical elimination and protects the skin against environmental stressors. Neroli aids in collagen production, smooths skin, and gives you a healthy glow. Not only does it improve skin elasticity, it helps maintain moisture and balance of your natural oil production. Its incredibly safe for sensitive skin and is not photo toxic.

Cypress oil (Cupressus sempervirens) is anti inflammatory and has monoterpenes which are antiseptic and antibacterial. The oil helps fight acne, regulates oily skin, and keeps your pores happy. Organic Jojoba Oil: 

Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) soothes dry skin and has anti-inflammatory properties. Jojoba helps with eczema and rosacea, naturally calming the skin. Its packed with antioxidants and vitamins (E and B Complex), which aid in repairing skin. It's non-allergenic, anti-aging and wonderful for after-sun protection.
